Aaron Madson brings over fifteen years of landscaping expertise to M5 Design Co., a freelance design firm dedicated to elevating outdoor spaces through high-end, custom designs. With a passion for creating stunning landscapes, Aaron partners with landscape professionals—business owners, salespeople, and foremen—to enhance their offerings by providing tailored design solutions for their clients.

Aaron’s journey in the industry began in 2008 as co-owner of a design/build landscape company in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, where he honed his skills in hardscape and landscape design/build projects. Starting his career on a crew doing the “grunt work,” Aaron progressed to leading custom installations at many high end properties in the west metro, while also managing the administrative aspects of a landscape business. In 2020, he returned to his hometown of North Mankato, Minnesota, and founded Revival Outdoor, a full-service landscaping company serving the greater Mankato area. While Revival Outdoor remains a cornerstone of his work, M5 Design Co. is a distinct venture focused on collaborating with other landscape professionals, not competing with them.

Through M5 Design Co., Aaron delivers innovative, client-focused designs that transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. His commitment to excellence and enthusiasm for outdoor living shine through in every project. When he’s not designing, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife, Jayme, and their three children, golfing, lake trips, and coaching youth baseball and basketball.
